Mais au-del\u00e0 des statistiques, il suffit de discuter avec des professionnels de sant\u00e9 ou des motards exp\u00e9riment\u00e9s pour comprendre \u00e0 quel point la diff\u00e9rence peut \u00eatre d\u00e9cisive.<\/p>\n<p>Dans de nombreux pays, la loi impose le port du casque. En France, par exemple, tout conducteur de deux-roues motoris\u00e9 d\u00e9passant 20 km\/h doit en porter un. Cette obligation ne rel\u00e8ve pas du formalisme. Malgr\u00e9 cette conception enveloppante, son poids reste contenu, souvent autour de 1,5 kg.<\/p>\n<p>C\u2019est le choix classique pour un usage routier r\u00e9gulier. Il prot\u00e8ge bien contre les chocs, le vent et le bruit. Les syst\u00e8mes de fermeture modernes, simples et rapides, facilitent l\u2019enfilage au quotidien.<\/p>\n<h3>Casque \u00e0 rabat<\/h3>\n<p>Le casque \u00e0 rabat reprend la base du casque int\u00e9gral, mais la mentonni\u00e8re peut se relever. Ce d\u00e9tail change beaucoup de choses dans la pratique. On peut parler, boire ou enfiler le casque plus facilement, notamment quand on porte des lunettes.<\/p>\n<p>En contrepartie, il p\u00e8se souvent un peu plus lourd et sa rigidit\u00e9 reste l\u00e9g\u00e8rement inf\u00e9rieure \u00e0 celle d\u2019un int\u00e9gral pur. On porte des lunettes sp\u00e9cifiques \u00e0 la place. La mentonni\u00e8re est plus avanc\u00e9e et la ventilation plus importante.<\/p>\n<p>Ce type de casque convient surtout \u00e0 un usage tout-terrain. Il peut recevoir une visi\u00e8re et reste compatible avec des lunettes de protection. Il doit d\u2019abord correspondre \u00e0 votre usage et \u00e0 votre morphologie. Ensuite seulement viennent les d\u00e9tails de confort et de finition.<\/p>\n<p>La visi\u00e8re joue un r\u00f4le important. Certains mod\u00e8les co\u00fbteux n\u2019apportent pas n\u00e9cessairement une meilleure protection qu\u2019un casque bien con\u00e7u et certifi\u00e9. Ce qui compte, ce sont les normes d\u2019homologation et les r\u00e9sultats aux tests de s\u00e9curit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Avant d\u2019acheter, prenez le temps de v\u00e9rifier que le casque respecte les normes en vigueur. C\u2019est un investissement qui concerne directement votre s\u00e9curit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<h3>Design et visibilit\u00e9<\/h3>\n<p>Bien s\u00fbr, l\u2019esth\u00e9tique a son importance. On porte un casque \u00e0 chaque sortie, autant qu\u2019il vous plaise. Mais pensez aussi \u00e0 la visibilit\u00e9. Un casque clair ou avec des \u00e9l\u00e9ments r\u00e9fl\u00e9chissants attire davantage l\u2019attention des autres usagers, surtout par faible luminosit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<h3>Taille et confort<\/h3>\n<p>La taille reste d\u00e9terminante. Les casques se d\u00e9clinent g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement de S \u00e0 XL, parfois davantage. Pour choisir, mesurez votre tour de t\u00eate \u00e0 l\u2019aide d\u2019un m\u00e8tre souple, au-dessus des sourcils.<\/p>\n<p>Une fois le casque en place, il doit serrer l\u00e9g\u00e8rement sans provoquer de douleur. Il ne doit ni flotter ni bouger quand vous secouez la t\u00eate. La jugulaire ferm\u00e9e, vous devez pouvoir passer un doigt, mais pas plus, entre la sangle et le menton. Avec le vent relatif en roulant, un casque trop large se d\u00e9placera et perdra en efficacit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Un bon casque, on le sent d\u00e8s les premi\u00e8res minutes : il tient bien en place, il ne cr\u00e9e pas de point de pression et il donne un sentiment de stabilit\u00e9.
