Dans les ann\u00e9es 90 d\u00e9j\u00e0, Volkswagen et Audi \u00e9changeaient joyeusement leurs composants. La plateforme PQ34 a servi de base au nouvel <a href=\"https:\/\/www.moto-integrator.be\/pieces-de-rechange-accessoires\/g\/audi\/a3\/\">Audi A3<\/a>, au TT, au Golf IV, mais aussi au Jetta, Bora, New Beetle, Seat Leon ou Skoda Octavia. La plupart des moteurs quatre cylindres du futur Golf IV ont \u00e9t\u00e9 repris, le tout habill\u00e9 dans une ambiance typiquement Audi \u2013 et voil\u00e0 une compacte pr\u00eate pour le succ\u00e8s.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_18133\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-18133\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-18133\" src=\"https:\/\/www.moto-integrator.be\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/19\/2025\/04\/Audi-A3-1.jpg\" alt=\"Audi A3\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-18133\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">L\u2019A3 a d\u2019abord \u00e9t\u00e9 propos\u00e9e uniquement en version 3 portes<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Si cette petite Audi au temp\u00e9rament sportif ne fait pas son \u00e2ge, c\u2019est pour plusieurs raisons. Pr\u00e8s de 913 000 exemplaires ont \u00e9t\u00e9 produits dans plusieurs usines, ce qui la rend encore bien pr\u00e9sente sur les routes. Sa bonne qualit\u00e9 de fabrication et l\u2019utilisation d\u2019aluminium et de mat\u00e9riaux composites lui ont permis de traverser les ann\u00e9es sans mal. D\u2019abord lanc\u00e9e en version trois portes pour ne pas faire de l\u2019ombre \u00e0 la Golf IV, elle proposait un int\u00e9rieur soign\u00e9, des si\u00e8ges fermes mais confortables et une ambiance s\u00e9rieuse. Certes, les \u00e9quipements \u00e9taient souvent plus sommaires que chez la concurrence, mais une fois \u00e0 bord, on se sentait chez soi. Rarement un souci ici.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Je_vois_rouge\"><\/span>Je vois rouge !<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>D\u00e8s le d\u00e9marrage et l\u2019allumage des feux, tous les sens sont en alerte. L\u2019\u00e9clairage int\u00e9rieur tout rouge ne pla\u00eet pas \u00e0 tout le monde, mais il cr\u00e9e une atmosph\u00e8re chaleureuse et non agressive. Les compteurs sont clairs, les commandes accessibles et bien plac\u00e9es. Pas de fioritures, juste l\u2019essentiel : volant, compte-tours, interrupteurs de ventilation et de phares. M\u00eame apr\u00e8s 25 ans, notre exemplaire d\u2019essai respire encore la qualit\u00e9, m\u00eame si certains mat\u00e9riaux marquent facilement. Tous les moteurs \u00e9taient \u00e0 traction avant, sauf les S3 livr\u00e9s en Quattro. Bo\u00eete manuelle 5 rapports de s\u00e9rie (6 pour les S3), bo\u00eete auto 4 rapports en option avec ou sans Tiptronic. Les essences, avec ou sans turbo, restent assez gourmandes aujourd\u2019hui. Le 1.8 d\u00e9passe rarement les 9 litres, m\u00eame sur route. Seuls les TDI 1.9, devenus l\u00e9gendaires, se contentent de 5 litres de gazole et peuvent atteindre des kilom\u00e9trages impressionnants \u2013 \u00e0 condition de surveiller la courroie de distribution.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_18137\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-18137\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-18137\" src=\"https:\/\/www.moto-integrator.be\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/19\/2025\/04\/Audi-A3-5.jpg\" alt=\"Tableau de bord\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-18137\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Le rouge, c\u2019est joli. Chez VW, tout \u00e9tait bleu \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Il_y_en_a_pour_tous_les_gouts\"><\/span>Il y en a pour tous les go\u00fbts<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Produite en Allemagne jusqu\u2019en 2003, l\u2019A3 8L \u00e9tait propos\u00e9e en finitions Attraction, Ambition, Ambiente et S-Line. Clim ou pas, toit ouvrant ou non, jantes diverses : le march\u00e9 regorge aujourd\u2019hui de versions pour tous les budgets. On trouve des exemplaires roulants \u00e0 moins de 1 000 \u20ac, mais attention aux entretiens n\u00e9glig\u00e9s. Leurs faiblesses ? Les m\u00eames que leurs cousines Golf et consorts : <a href=\"https:\/\/www.moto-integrator.be\/produits\/pompes-a-eau-10803\/\">pompes \u00e0 eau<\/a> et <a href=\"https:\/\/www.moto-integrator.be\/produits\/alternateurs-10502\/\">alternateurs<\/a> capricieux, d\u00e9bitm\u00e8tres parfois fautifs, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.moto-integrator.be\/produits\/rotules-de-direction-11703\/\">rotules de direction<\/a> avant qui cognent, silentblocs arri\u00e8re fatigu\u00e9s avec le temps. Tous les mod\u00e8les sont d\u00e9sormais consid\u00e9r\u00e9s comme youngtimers, certains approchent m\u00eame le statut de v\u00e9hicule de collection. Elle est discr\u00e8te, s\u00e9rieuse et plus cool que la moyenne &#8211; ne serait-ce que pour son \u00e9clairage rouge si typique. Essayez donc !
